I think this is the result of Escher's nine-year stay on a desert island, it's actually made of real bone which has been carved with his own toe-nails, wrapped up with his nasal hair.
Yeah, and if he hadn't used the bone frame it would collapse into itself causing a rift in the very fabric of the universe due to the impossibility of it's geometry...
omg! this is amazing because this is the only remaining evidence that it ever existed because Escher had to eat his creation to survive shortly after he decide to bathe in the ocean and was eaten by a shark that swam into a forming volcanic island and was trapped deep inside the the molten rock.... dumb shark.
Excellent interpretation of the common 'impossible triangle'. The fun is that while the inside object is indeed impossible, while the outside, the bones are set in the same pattern (base bone going over leg bone on the left and going under the other leg bone on the right). This might be a coincidence, but I like it. It fits.
It's no coincidence, actually they go in the opposite direction of the triangle yet by looking at the winding they appear to be parallel! Uuhh, huh?
Thanks.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
